Refuah for Netanel Felber

Netanel, a soldier in the Kfir Brigade who was on guard duty at the time, sustained a bullet in his head, sending him into a deep coma. He has remained unconscious since the attack. His injuries are so severe that his life remains in danger.

“He was proud to serve his country,” his mother Judi said. “He tries to do his best in everything. He was able to inspire others to do their best as well. He was mostly doing guard duty, but sometimes participated in arrests. Even if it wasn’t the most exciting task, he gave his all.”

Netanel joined the IDF 16 months earlier, after spending a year in a preparatory program. He is the youngest of three children. His family made Aliyah to Israel in 2006 from Silver Spring, Maryland.

Judi said Netanel’s condition has been stable, but there is no timetable on how long he will remain in a coma.  “They don’t have an estimate of when he will leave here.”

We are all praying for a complete and speedy recovery.
