Netanel Kahalani

The terrorist saw the soldiers standing as a group outside their base. He then made a U-turn on the road in order to plow his car into the soldiers, and accelerated.

Netanel is survived by his parents, Noam and Dani, and his four brothers, one of whom is currently serving as a combat soldier the IDF’s Golani Brigade.
At his funeral, 2,000 people came to mourn and cry with the family. “Everyone loved him, he helped everyone, always smiling,” said his mother. “He never held a grudge against anyone.”

His friends described him as a person with a “heart of gold, and someone people always wanted to be around.” They said that in high school he was always the most successful and most talented.

At the funeral, his father said he was still in shock about the terrible news. “I have not yet processed this and I don’t know if I can go on,” he said. “I loved you so much, and I lost you in a second. Twenty years is nothing, but I am thankful for them.”
